Air Conditioning inspection

Why?

It's summer - stay cool! And, with the heat we have, stay safe.

When?

You should have your A/C checked at least once a year and we recommend in the spring for cooling efficiency. If you are noticing a lack of air flow, a bad smell coming from your vents or if you feel you A/C is not as cold as it should be it is time to get it checked.

Whats included?

Depending on the issue you are experiencing the process for the inspection may change. If the A/C has quit or not if it's not feeling cold, we will start by evacuating the refrigerant in the system. It is then re-charged with UV die which will tell us if and where there is a leak. If there is a smell, we start by checking your air filter or engine compartment.

Air Filter Replacement

Why?

The filter prevents particles from entering the engine and potentially causing expensive damages. By continually checking and replacing your air filter you will Increase your fuel efficiency, reduce your emissions, and prolong your engine life.

When?

To maintain your engines highest possible performance your air filters should be changed every 19,000km-23,000km. However, if you drive often on dirt roads, or in dusty conditions, it is best to check and change the filter more frequently.

Whats Included?

Confirmation from our technicians if the filter does indeed need changes, if so we simply replace it with a new one.

Alignment or Alignment check

Why?

You should get a wheel alignment for improved performance of your tires, and even to prolong their life. It will also improve the handling of your vehicle, stop it from pulling to one side, and decrease vibration on the road.

When?

We recommend an alignment twice a year. Once when you are putting your summer tires on and again when you switch to your winter tires. We will also recommend an alignment whenever you get new tires.

Whats included?
During an alignment, your wheels are properly rotated and adjusted while your vehicle is on the rack. This will allow the rack to accurately adjust the wheels back to the manufacturer's recommendation.

Battery Test

Why?

No battery, no power.

When?

We recommend a battery test every 6 months.  A dying battery can be difficult to test for, but when the life is coming near the end, we are able to detect diminishing capacity before the outright failure.
