Stellantis Electrification Strategy

Stellantis Electrification Strategy in Midland, ON

Change is coming to the lineup of Jeep, RAM, Dodge, and Chrysler vehicles. More than 30 billion dollars is being invested by Stellantis through 2025 to continue to add more electrified options to the lineup. This means more electric and hybrid vehicles being added to our new inventory in both the commercial and passenger vehicle space. These vehicles will be built on one of four platforms that range from small, medium, large, and frame platforms. Cars, luxury vehicles, all-wheel drive and performance options, and a lineup of electric pickup trucks will be available, giving you plenty of selections to choose from. The target range for these options will range from 500 to 800 km, thanks to a new battery and electric drive modules that will help these hybrid and electric vehicles go further.

Jeep EV

The first Jeep EV (electric vehicle) will arrive in 2023, along with the Wrangler EV that will be released in 2024. The popular Jeep Wrangler currently has a 4xe hybrid option available that adds more horsepower and torque thanks to the two electric motors. You also get an impressive amount of fuel efficiency and can choose between drive modes. Electric Mode will use only the battery power and can be used for short commutes or when you need the maximum amount of torque available. For those looking for a more luxurious ride, the Grand Cherokee 4xe is also available.

RAM EV

Workhorses like the RAM 1500 and RAM ProMaster have EV options upcoming in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Some models like the RAM 1500 have engine options that are paired with the eTorque system. This mild hybrid system is designed to provide you with additional launch torque and is helpful for improving low-speed acceleration. The Pentastar V6 comes standard with eTorque, and even the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 can be paired with eTorque for an impressive amount of added performance. Both the new upcoming RAM EVs will provide you with the same trucks and vans that you depend on while also helping you be more energy efficient.

Chrysler EV

For those looking for a lifestyle family car, the Chrysler EV will be added to the lineup in 2025. In the current lineup, the existing Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid offers improved efficiency. You can switch between electric and hybrid modes to help save on fuel when you have shorter commutes by operating the vehicle using the battery. You have the option to charge at home or at a charging station for greater versatility.

Dodge EV

A newly announced performance muscle car is coming to the Dodge lineup as the first Dodge EV. Although not much information has been released yet, we invite you to contact us to stay up to date on this exciting addition to the Dodge lineup as more information becomes available.
